When they find their way back as friends, Elliot is initially reluctant before finally deciding to date Wes, but J.D.’s failure has to do with his lingering feelings for Elliot, which ruins a potential relationship with Lily, the hospital’s harpist (lisa gilroy<\/strong>). JD learns that Charlie prefers men who like musicals over soccer and becomes open to meeting Charlie.<\/p>\n(Disney\/Darko Sikman)“That doesn’t mean their romance is over or done with, and it doesn’t mean we won’t explore it, but it’s an emotional event and we want to find out,” Batra said of the storyline, which will continue in season two pending ABC’s decision. “The Rachel Bilson arc is going to be helpful for us as well, because that’s what emotions it evokes for Elliot and for JD, so we’re really excited to have her back. She’s such a lovely person. We had so much fun with her on set. And we joked because we kept letting her pass and JD couldn’t talk to her.
