So this week, The Mummy, action star Bob Odenkirk, and Theo Fung(?) are giving it a try. No dice. People are still glued to the year&#8217;s two biggest movies, and not since 2016 have two movies done so well at the beginning of the year. <em>dead pool<\/em>, <em>zootopia<\/em>and <em>batman vs superman<\/em> Already posted over $300 million each, Disney&#8217;s live-action production <em>jungle book<\/em> It was just getting started.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>King of crops: <em>super mario galaxy movie<\/em> Remains number one for 3 weeks in a row<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/aI1mz-al3yQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Only Brendan Fraser&#8217;s Mummy can beat Mario this weekend, but we won&#8217;t find out until 2028. <strong><em>super mario galaxy movie<\/em><\/strong>    The person who took the top spot for three weeks in a row was <em>Avatar: Fire &#038; Ash<\/em>. Mario brought in an additional $35 million for the family business, bringing its 19-day total to $355.2 million. This ranks 26th on the all-time list, but how does it stack up against blockbuster sequels? <em>Avengers: Age of Ultron<\/em> It had a third weekend of $38.8 million and banked $367.4 million. <em>galaxy<\/em> It also has symmetry with another Marvel movie. <em>Captain America: Civil War<\/em>which earned $353.1 million after 19 days and $32.9 million after its third weekend, moving it to 27th place on the all-time list. Mario&#8217;s 48.6% drop (compared to the original&#8217;s 35% drop in its third weekend) has lowered its domestic forecast to likely $420-430 million from last week&#8217;s $440-460 million. But at the moment every dollar is profit and all over the world <em>galaxy movie<\/em> reached $747 million. But is there still $1 billion available?<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Top 10 stories: <em>project hail mary<\/em> hold steady, <em>Lee Cronin&#8217;s &#8220;The Mummy&#8221;<\/em> open third<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/rvFR4v3PJNo\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Phil Lord and Christopher Miller <strong><em>project hail mary<\/em><\/strong>    is sailing toward its next milestone. It has already reached $500 million worldwide last week, of which more than $285 million is currently domestic. forget <em>Dune: Part 2<\/em>since it has already passed. The movie closest to the trend is Disney&#8217;s 2016 live-action version. <em>jungle book<\/em>. like <em>Hail Mary<\/em>&#8216;s fourth weekend box office gross was $24.1 million, compared to that movie&#8217;s $24.4 million. The weekend after that <em>jungle<\/em> Although he earned $17.1 million, <em>Hail Mary<\/em> The fifth time he earned $20.4 million. Still needs a little boost to catch the latter <em>jungle&#8217;<\/em>Overall numbers, but the pattern suggests heading into the $330 million to $340 million area. Night Shyamalan in bearing their names rather than titles (or just a way to keep people from confusing them with Brendan Fraser films). <strong><em>Lee Cronin&#8217;s &#8220;The Mummy&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>    Its debut gross was $13.5 million, making it the fourth-highest horror debut of the following year. <em>scream 7<\/em> ($63.6 million), <em>Submit help<\/em> ($19.1 million) and <em>iron lung<\/em> ($17.8 million), but <em>28 Years Later: Temple of Bones<\/em> ($12.5 million). 2025 was a great year for original horror, and it should have been the ninth best debut. <em>sinner<\/em> and <em>weapons<\/em>. but <em>Cronin&#8217;s Mummy<\/em> barely won <em>he<\/em>. cronins <em>evil dead rise<\/em> It opened with $24.5 million and ended with more than $67 million over the same weekend in 2023. Critics gave the film a positive rating of 85%. <em>mummy<\/em> It&#8217;s down to 45%. Weekend 3 added an additional $4.8 million to $39.6 million. Ben Affleck in 2023 <em>air<\/em> It earned $5.4 million in its third weekend, topping the $37 million mark. <em>drama<\/em> is on track to do just that, still targeting a box office gross of $50 million to $55 million, making it only the third R-rated movie this year to hit that mark. There were 12 deals last year, five of which exceeded $100 million.<\/p>\n<p>Last week&#8217;s exotic locale romantic comedy, <strong><em>you and me and tuscany<\/em><\/strong>which dropped to $3.8 million this weekend for a total of $14.3 million. Current number is less than <em>monte carlo<\/em>the 2011 Selena Gomez girls&#8217; getaway film grossed $16.1 million after a second weekend of $3.8 million. The deal closed for $23.1 million. <em>tuscany<\/em>numbers unfortunately share a surprising consistency with films containing black romances. Apart from star-driven films like <em>hitch<\/em> and <em>boomerang<\/em> Ensemble pieces like <em>think like a human<\/em> and <em>The Best Man<\/em> Movies, here&#8217;s a list of that movie over the years:<\/p>\n<p><em>How did Stella recover?<\/em> ($37.6 million), <em>poetic justice<\/em> ($27.5 million), <em>love and basketball<\/em> ($27.4 million), <em>brown sugar<\/em> ($27.3 million), <em>The game can be played by two people<\/em> ($22.2 million), <em>Love Don&#8217;t Cost Thing<\/em> ($21.9 million), <em>just right<\/em> ($21.5 million), <em>jason lyrics<\/em> ($20.8 million), <em>photograph<\/em> ($20.5 million), <em>Delivered from Eva<\/em> ($17.5 million) <em>love jones<\/em> ($12.4 million), <em>something new<\/em> ($11.4 million)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/z9sPNvEFQZs\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>tuscany<\/em> Reaching $20 million may be difficult. One movie not on the list worth finding is the work of Layne Allen Miller. <em>Ray Lane<\/em> The film, co-starring David Johnson and Vivian Opara, premiered at Sundance in 2023, but was released only on Hulu and was never given a chance to find an audience in theaters.<\/p>\n<p>However, there is some positive news regarding theatrical distribution. Magnolia Pictures is a long-time indie powerhouse that has released films such as: <em>melancholia<\/em>Bong Joon Ho&#8217;s <em>the host<\/em>and <em>enter the correct one<\/em>Especially since we just had our biggest opening ever. Yes, this is still its second wide release and the first to open in over 2,000 theaters, but Ben Wheatley&#8217;s action film <strong><em>usually<\/em><\/strong>along with Bob Odenkirk, finished in the top 10 with $2.65 million. Previous leaders have included: <em>Woman, you&#8217;re lost<\/em> In 2004 ($2.5 million), <em>Thelma<\/em> June Squibb ($2.3 million) in 2024; If this assumption applies, <em>usually<\/em> &#8216; has already become their 17th highest grossing film of all time. If it doubles from opening weekend, it will be in the top five. Congratulations, Magnolia.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/smMvdcH4z5o\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>disney\/pixar <strong><em>hopper<\/em><\/strong>    As they continue to cut costs, their victory should be close. Another $2.9 million was added this weekend, taking the film to more than $161 million domestically. It also grossed over $206 million internationally, making it one of the company&#8217;s highest-grossing films worldwide. only <em>lightyear, toy story<\/em>, <em>bug&#8217;s life<\/em>and <em>good dinosaur<\/em> Revenues so far have declined. <em>inside out 2<\/em> It became the only Pixar film to surpass $500 million (actually $1.69 billion) worldwide since the pandemic. <em>elemental<\/em> It came close to $496 million.<\/p>\n<p>A summary of this week&#8217;s top 10: <strong><em>bus boys<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; is a comedy co-starring David Spade and podcaster Theo Fung, and Blu-ray.com&#8217;s Brian Orndorff said, &#8220;I&#8217;d be shocked if a worse movie comes out in 2026.&#8221; The release of Mind Blowing Films grossed an estimated $1.65 million from 800 theaters. hindi horror comedy <strong><em>booth bangla<\/em><\/strong>    It earned $950,000 in 500 theaters. Finally, let&#8217;s take another look <strong>BTS World Tour \u201cArirang\u201d Japan Performance<\/strong> It also earned $2.44 million last Saturday, before earning another $1.8 million Saturday night.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beyond the top 10: <em>virgin mary<\/em> Proper opening with limited release<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/iV4Vwqo2FOo\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>New movie directed by David Lowery and starring Anne Hathaway. <strong><em>virgin mary<\/em><\/strong>which opened to $168,000 in just five theaters in New York and Los Angeles. A24 currently owns the top three per-theater averages for any year released in two or more theaters. <em>that moment<\/em> ($106,985), <em>pillion<\/em> ($60,442), and now <em>virgin mary<\/em> ($33,613)<\/p>\n<p>Neon expanded on Steven Soderbergh&#8217;s work <strong><em>christophers<\/em><\/strong>    It was shown in 364 theaters and grossed $596,000 for a total of $702,000. neon <strong><em>Exit 8<\/em><\/strong>    They paid $669,000 each for a total of $3.1 million and $2.8 million. the release of a documentary about the creators of Saturday Night Live by Focus Features; <strong><em>loan<\/em><\/strong>grossed just $270,000 in 414 theaters with a PTA of just $652.<\/p>\n<p>Roadsides outside the top 10 this week <strong><em>great awakening<\/em><\/strong>    An additional $823,667 was added, bringing the total to $6.6 million. The film currently ranks 18th among the studio&#8217;s all-time theatrical releases, but will soon overtake that ranking. <em>Winter&#8217;s Bone<\/em> with jennifer lawrence <em>delivery person<\/em> Released in March 2021. IFC&#8217;s <strong><em>face of death<\/em><\/strong>    Sales decreased by 81.8% to $300,000 for a total of $2.44 million. Finally, Universal&#8217;s original work by Colleen Hoover, <strong><em>his memories<\/em><\/strong>which earned $450,000 for a total of $48.2 million.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About vines: <em>michael<\/em> Set to excite your audience<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/rdup88LacHI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Next week, Mario and Ryan will be parting ways <strong><em>michael<\/em><\/strong>.
