Although her body and mind were damaged, doctors reassured them that she was healthy enough to go home.

Katie quickly becomes a terrible burden to the family, behaving like a monster and acting in increasingly disturbing ways.

Any horror fan will recognize its influence. exorcist Other possession movies (It’s Always a Little Girl), but mummythe demon tries to escape from its host.

After consulting an archeology professor about Katie’s skin and bandage marks, Charlie learns of the legend that the devil resides within his daughter.

The entity inside Katie is an ancient malevolent being known as the Nasmaranyan who destroys families. Nasmaranian must damage the host’s body and continually spread the infection to new victims.

The magician and his family had kept Nasmaranyan captive for years using layers of binding spells that included writing embedded in Katie’s skin.

After an accident leaves Katie’s skin torn in an alarming amount, she intensifies her self-harm behavior and succeeds in spreading the curse to her two siblings, who begin to behave similarly erratically.

Before Katie was chosen as the host, the magician had been touring several bodies to contain Nasmaranyan, and she mentioned the importance of using innocent children.

When Katie tears off his skin, the bonds that restrained Nasmaranyan weaken, allowing his curse to spread. However, Katie is still there, trapped in her body with the demon.

She manages to gain enough control over her body to communicate with her father in Morse code, telling him the name “Layla”, the daughter of the sorceress she seduced with candy.

Charlie finds a letter from Leila to Katie, realizes that she is involved in the kidnapping, and gives the name to Daria, who follows it to the magician’s house.

Daria encounters a sorcerer in her home and shoots her, revealing the gruesome details behind the ancient cult that kept Nasmaranyan imprisoned and the human sacrifices made to contain it.

Leila, who has always been a reluctant helper to her abusive mother, arrives and gives Daria a VHS tape that reveals the chanting of a demonic transference ritual, showing Nasmaranyan entering Katie’s body.

Dahlia visits the Cannon family to show them the VHS tape, but the family is torn apart after Katie murdered her grandmother and spread the curse to her two siblings.

Katie’s restraints and skin have almost completely come undone, and the demon is about to break through its containment.

As they attack her parents and Dahlia, Charlie decides to make the ultimate sacrifice for her daughter, and Dahlia chants a ritual chant to transfer the demon to Charlie, finally freeing Katie and her siblings.

In the ending, Charlie is safely contained in a coffin in the basement and can only communicate with his family through Morse code. Surprisingly, Katie seems to be recovering from the ordeal and the family seems to have found a way to overcome the tragic situation.

However, the final scene of the film breaks the news that the magician has survived his encounter with Dahlia and is safely taken into custody.

Larissa and Daria arrive at the sorcerer’s cell with the demon-possessed Charlie and begin a ritual chant that transfers the demon from her father to the sorcerer.

Explaining the twist ending of “Lee Cronin’s The Mummy”

Twist scene completely changes the ending mummyfrom a closed and bittersweet ending to a jumping off point for a possible sequel.

This makes some sense, since Charlie probably won’t live long. Because the cannons are not trained in the ways of ancient cults and cannot contain the Nasmaranians forever.

As it has been stated that an innocent child is the perfect vessel to contain a Nasmaranian, transferring a demon to a sorcerer certainly poses problems.

The cannon probably gave power to demons and put them inside literal sorcerers with deep knowledge of binding spells along with dark magic.

When Nasmaranyan returns, he will do more than bite and scratch.

Will there be a sequel to Lee Cronin’s The Mummy?

The door is wide open for a sequel, but no official announcement has been made yet.

Director Lee Cronin seems keen on the idea, but it all depends on box office revenue, Cronin told Variety: “I’ll let the audience decide.”

“I absolutely love the characters in this world, and we’ve stepped into a much, much bigger legend,” Cronin said. “If viewers really love this world and universe, there’s no doubt that there will be conversations about how we continue to grow it.”

More from Forbes

forbesEverything you need to know about the movie ‘Backroom’by Dani Di PlacidoforbesHas the Bigfoot lie finally been exposed?by Dani Di PlacidoforbesExplaining the twist ending of “Weapon”by Dani Di PlacidoforbesWhy did JD Vance compare aliens to demons?by Dani Di Placido

#Explaining #twist #Lee #Cronins #Mummy

Natalie Grace plays Katie in Lee Cronin’s Hamunaptra Warner Bros.
