Jason Momoa officially takes on the role robot Anticipation for his upcoming debut in the new DCU is extremely high. super girlwill be released in just a few months. But DC Comics just did something really exciting with The Main Man, giving Lobo a surprising new hero rival in his latest appearance, apparently in honor of Momoa’s brand new DC role.

But Momoa is now getting the chance to play Lobo, the DC role many thought he was born to play.
However, rather than completely ignoring Jason Momoa’s past role as Aquaman in the previous DCEU, the comic is having fun with that exciting change, resulting in a very meta and very entertaining matchup between Lobo and Aquaman himself in the new installment. In a perfectly timed synergy, DC Comics pitted Lobo against Aquaman months before Lobo made his big screen debut in the DCU.
new Robo No. 2the titular intergalactic bounty hunter continues to work for Omni Omega+ Entertainment Corporation and stars in his own intergalactic reality show, The Main Man, where Lobo’s various work is broadcast as Antihero Entertainment. However, due to focus group data, Lobo received a new costume and appearance, and the suits decided that Lobo needed to fight a legitimate hero to increase viewership.
As a result, Lobo is given a contract to take on none other than Emperor Aquaman, and is now traveling the universe and building a new intergalactic empire.
Although Aquaman rightly mocks Lobo’s ridiculous new appearance, the brawl between the two superpowers ends after an hour-long stalemate and is only resolved when Lobo’s contract is abruptly terminated. Apparently, OOEC was acquired by Galactic Rodent Productions (definitely Disney’s version of DC Cosmic).
Will Lobo fight Aquaman in James Gunn’s DC Universe?

This fight between Lobo and Aquaman is entertaining, but the big question now is whether this showdown will make it to the big screen. In great timing, Jason Momoa had literally just joked with Peter Safran on stage at CinemaCon the day before about wanting to do a Lobo/Aquaman project. Robo No. 2 Published by DC Comics.
Is it possible that we’ll see a showdown between Lobo and Arthur Curry someday in the new DCU? It’s certainly possible. However, it seems doubtful that Momoa will play Aquaman even now that he’s attached to Lobo.

Are you a man of steel or are you still stuck in a phone booth?
It’s very likely that the King of Atlantis will eventually be recast for a future appearance in the new DC Universe. While some actors and roles have been retained across universes, like John Cena as Peacemaker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, the biggest roles have been or will be recast, like David Corensweat replacing Henry Cavill as Superman.
Either way, there’s a lot of potential for a live-action robot-versus-Aquaman clash. As it turns out, this new issue of Lobo proved just that. Although nothing has been officially confirmed yet, Robo No. 2 It’s a fun glimpse into what will become of the DCU’s main man and King of Atlantis.
