NBC Sports’ 22-game 2026 WNBA regular season begins with the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces visiting the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

NBC Sports’ WNBA schedule is packed with matchups featuring the league’s biggest superstars. All 15 teams will be represented, including expansion franchises the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo, while the defending champions Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever will play in five games. Seven games will be shown on NBC and Peacock, and the remaining 15 games will be shown on Peacock and NBCSN.

The upcoming WNBA season will consist of two key days of the week. WNBA game timeNBC Sports’ game window for most of the season, and Sunday night basketball. Highlights of the schedule include:

  • season tip off: The 2026 WNBA season begins with a tip-off doubleheader on Sunday, May 17 on NBC, Peacock and NBCSN. Game 1 will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock at 1:30 p.m. ET from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, as four-time WNBA MVP and two-time Finals MVP A’ja Wilson and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces face off against the Atlanta Dream and Angel Reese in their home debut. In the second game, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will host the 2026 WNBA No. 8 overall pick. fraugei johnson and Seattle Storm from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana at 6pm ET on Peacock and NBCSN.
  • Young star and MVP: One week later, on May 24th, the last two teams, the Dallas Wings and the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft, the Buccaneers (2025). Advantages of Aggie (2026) will take on 2024 WNBA champion New York Liberty and superstar Sabrina Ionescu and two-time WNBA MVP Brianna Stewart on NBC and Peacock at 3:30 p.m. ET from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Bueckers and Fudd were teammates at Union College and helped the Huskies win the 2025 NCAA Division I Championship.
  • Join the WNBA sunday night basketball line up: sunday night basketball will return in one of the most anticipated matchups of the WNBA season as Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever visit the Las Vegas Aces from Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 12 at 9pm ET on NBC and Peacock. This Fever vs. Ace matchup will be a rematch of the 2025 WNBA semifinals, where the Aces overcame the Fever to win the series 3-2 before going on to win their third WNBA championship in four years last season. In the second of two Sunday Night Basketball Showcases, Clark and the Indiana Fever will travel to take on the Chicago Sky on August 23rd at 7pm ET on NBC and Peacock.
  • new team: The 2026 schedule focuses on the WNBA’s expanding footprint and two new markets: the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo. The Golden State Valkyries have made multiple appearances on NBC Sports, including a game against the Las Vegas Aces on May 31st, a game against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 15th, and a game against the Dallas Wings on August 17th. Portland will make its first appearance on NBC Sports on May 25th against the New York Liberty, followed by a matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks on August 2nd. The Toronto Tempo will be featured on Peacock and NBCSN nationally during games against the Las Vegas Aces on July 20th and against the Atlanta Dream on August 10th.
  • This season’s WNBA schedule on NBCUniversal features five games each for the defending champion Las Vegas Aces and 2025 WNBA Playoff semifinalist Indiana Fever. Additionally, the New York Liberty, Atlanta Dream, and Dallas Wings will all play four games.

NBC Sports’ WNBA Playoff coverage will consist of the semifinals and WNBA Finals games. Games 1 and 4 of the WNBA Finals will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock, with Games 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 available on Peacock.
