Hulu is the perfect streaming service to build your next binge. There are hit original shows as well as a variety of shows from the Disney-owned network. This means shows from FX, ABC, 20th Television (previously owned by Fox), and more. There’s always a ton of new shows from the big studios, and that’s not something every streaming service can replicate.
But deciding which show to watch first can be difficult. Don’t worry; we’ve compiled a list of three new shows that are perfect to add to your weekend viewing list. First up is Scrubs, which just finished its first season on Hulu (again), nearly 25 years after the show first aired on NBC in 2001. Next up is “The Testament,” the sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale,” of which you can already binge-watch four episodes. Finally, there’s a revival of the popular show “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair,” available for viewing in its entirety.

Malcolm McMillan
Malcolm has been with Tom’s Guide since 2022 and watches dozens of shows each year, so he never has to watch a bad show. He’s already watched over 15 seasons of television this year, and thankfully, most of them have been good.

Genre: workplace sitcom
What is it? “Scrubs” is officially back, and so are JD (Zach Braff) and Turk (Donald Faison). But this time, they’re running Sacred Heart instead of running away from Dr. Cox’s wrath. If you loved the original show, many familiar faces will appear at least once, and the episodes will be littered with the same twists that made you love the original.
Why you should watch it: TG’s Martin Shore declared the reboot to be “exactly what I wanted”. I even admit it’s growing on me. It often feels the same, for better or worse, but the penultimate episode of the season was the first time I felt like it was proving itself.

What is it? Set several years after The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments stars One Battle After Another star Chase Infinity as Agnes, an honorable and obedient child of the theocratic nation of Gilead. However, her life changes when she is given the task of helping Canadian convert Daisy (Lucy Halliday). As Daisy adjusts to her new home, she discovers that all is not as it seems in Gilead.
Why you should watch it: “The Handmaid’s Tale” was a huge hit for Hulu, and early reviews suggest that formula is true again with this sequel. It currently has a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

What is it? Twenty years after the events of “Malcolm in the Middle,” Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is on a roll. He has a family now, a daughter, Leah (Keeley Kirsten), and an amazing girlfriend, Tristan (Kiana Madeira). But when his family sends him home for his parents’ (Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek) 40th anniversary party, the life he has carefully built may come undone.
Why you should watch it: I couldn’t stop laughing while watching this trailer. Cranston and Kaczmarek are always fun to be around. With just four episodes, “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” is available for easy binge-watching this weekend.
