After a fun crew night’s vacation turned into an altercation between stew Alecia Harris and deck/stew Mike Durant, chief stew Daisy Kelliher took the conflict to Captain Jason Chambers, who didn’t mince words about possible next steps.
“I’ve reached a certain point, and if we don’t get to where we’re going, I’m going to make a change,” Jason threatened midway through. below the deck, below the deck Season 4, Episode 12.
Daisy explained what the Captain missed on the April 20 episode. “Well, King Mike and Alecia both came up to me and said, ‘What are you going to do with this?’ Oh, they’re gone,” Daisy told Jason. “I was like, ‘Please come to me and stop making this my problem.’ I was really upset about it.”
Jason couldn’t stand this situation. “Don’t get involved, we’re here to do a job. [If] You can’t do that, find another job,” he declared.
“Alecia and Mike are adults. They need to learn to work in an environment like this. This is part of working on a yacht. If they can’t be mature enough to resolve small arguments and conflicts, they may have to go,” he continued.
Daisy added: “It’s just toxic. It’s unfair to everyone else.”

After accusing Mike of doing more talk than work, Alecia overhears Mike gossiping with the deck team about a semi-love triangle involving flirty text messages with Eddie Hounsell and Jenna Oodberg. Mike and Alecia’s loud argument forces Daisy and second officer Joan Franco to sit Mike down.
“The important thing is that we enjoy your banter,” Joan told him. “You know, no doubt about it. Work is the main reason we’re here.”
“We’re not fast enough, we’re not efficient, and the girls are frustrated because we have to micromanage them,” Daisy added.
Mr. Joan reminded Mike that shootings are not considered during charter season. “It’s all fun and games until it’s gone. You have to understand that at any stage, especially if someone is not happy with you, you can get fired,” he warned.

Since then, the ship’s crew has been at loggerheads over who should be responsible for cleaning up incidents, including the infamous panty liner. Another point of contention arose during the March 23 episode. When Mike asked chef Ben Robinson to make him an omelet during the charter, Alecia pulled him aside and told him “never” to ask him that again – a criticism that Mike did not take kindly to.
Why Daisy Kelliher issued a warning during the crew’s night out
Daisy tried to end the situation during a secret meeting on the April 20 episode. “I was pretty angry on this trip. I saw a lot of selfishness from different people, like thinking they were working harder than other people. I also saw people arguing in front of the crew,” she said. “In fact, it was relentless and at the heart of it was so much selfish behavior. We are a team, we all work as a team, and something like this can’t happen again.”
Despite her warnings, Mike and Alecia quickly exchange words, with Alecia telling the others, “You’re going to have to keep me away from him tonight.”
Mike explained his side to the producers. “I feel like Alecia is just trying to prove herself in this position by pointing out that I’m not doing a good job to make herself look good,” he said.
Things escalated further when Mike commented to the group that “some of them definitely work harder than others”.
Alecia replied, “I think you should sit down, because you are definitely the least active of us all.”
As the argument ensues, Daisy gets involved and tells them both that she’s being “mean.”

“I’m not trying to be dramatic, but he bites me, bites me, and the moment I react, he’s like, ‘Alecia!'” Alecia tells Daisy, and Chief Stew asks, “So, how do we move on from here?”
When Alecia pointed the finger at Daisy to solve the problem, she wasn’t happy.
“This is over. Alecia, I got this from him and I got this from you. We need to figure this out together,” Daisy told her. “I do not have I’m already doing this. You have a problem with him. He has a problem with you. It’s over now. ” Daisy added as she walked away. It’s already over. ”
She aired her frustrations during a confessional interview. “It’s my job to run a superyacht. Mediating two arguing kids is nowhere in the job description,” she told producers. “If they don’t rein it in, heads will roll off.”
